Spears Pregnant… Surprise?
While I will say that the news of the younger of the Spears girls being pregnant is a big surprise as far as a news standpoint… I will have to say that it is not all that surprising that it happened to that particular family. The Spears family has been noticeably corrupt ever since Britney started her career as a singer. Anyone who allows their young child to dress as a little “innocent” schoolgirl to break out in their career has to have some sort of problem with their shared mindset.
Now I am not saying that dressing like that is wrong in every situation… by no means am I that sheltered. But I will have to say that this was a tad bit innapropriate in hindsight. This ultimately led to her dressing with less and less clothes until she became this pop culture sex icon who sang catchy songs. I think that this had a profound affect on the eyes of her younger sister on the world and how it works. Britney Spears sold albums through sexual appeal and Jamie Lynn saw that and I think that she had the warped sense of reality that most teens that follow the entertainment world gets, that sex is what everyone does at any age.
Then to add on to the saga that is Britney’s life, she gets married… has a kid… gets divorced… doesnt take care of her kid properly… shaves her head… goes through rehab or some shit like that and now she has came out with another album. I think that Jamie Lynn is unfortunate in the way that she was brought up in the “Hollywood” way, but I do think that her child will be ok. She has made statements that she plans to raise her child in Louisiana and wants to have a “normal” life, whatever that is, and I commend her for that. She seems to have her head on a little straighter then her big sister’s given the situation.
